Updating Apple Devices
It is crucial that you keep your Internet-connected Apple devices up to date with the latest security and feature updates. The following guide breaks down in straightforward terms how to initiate the update/upgrade process.

Please check for updates on all your devices at least once a month.
iPhone Range
(Be prepared for your iPhone to be unavailable for up to 10 minutes whilst the update is installed)
Tap SETTINGS
Scroll down to GENERAL
Tap SOFTWARE UPDATE
Wait for the Update status to refresh
If you are offered an Update, click DOWNLOAD and INSTALL
iMac Range
(Be prepared for your Mac device to be unavailable for up to 20 minutes whilst the update is installed)
Top right of your screen, click the Apple logo
Click ABOUT THIS MAC
Click SOFTWARE UPDATE…
Wait for the Update status to refresh
If you are offered an Update, click on UPGRADE/INSTALL NOW button
